fairly obvious, but due to two recent blatant occurences of copyright violation
regarding some of my pictures, I see no choice but to explicitly state the

Copying, distribution, archiving, dissemination or other use, for commercial or
noncommercial purposes, of the images and/or text in any form, electronic or
otherwise, is strictly forbidden without prior written permission from myself.
This warning is specifically applied to, but not limited to, Reed Business
Information Limited, publishers of New Scientist magazine, and Future Publishing
Limited, publishers of T3 magazine. It does not apply to the DTT or JTR mailing
lists, the list owner of which may reuse the images for mailing list use only.
In other words, ask me first, especially before publishing my images and attributing them to other people! I'm generally pretty reasonable, and will say yes to most uses, but I like to know where they're going.
